Jorge Padrones was born into a family of cyclists. Son, grandson, and brother of racers, he lined up for his first race at just four years old. Cycling ran through his veins… until it didn’t.

For over two decades he stepped away from sport—until a Titan Desert commercial in Madrid reignited the spark. He bought a bike from a department store and signed up. No plan, no doubts. That was the start of his second life on two wheels.

Since then, Jorge has raced across the Himalayas, Africa, the Atacama Desert, World Cups, and national events. When every kilometer matters, reliability is non-negotiable. That’s why he trusts ISB SPORT Bearings: designed to endure, resist, and perform under the toughest conditions.

In 2020, he discovered gravel with Antonio Ortiz. A return to basics: no suspension, wider tires, back to the dirt. Around Valladolid, he found endless trails and a new way of riding. For Jorge, gravel isn’t a trend—it’s cycling’s essence.

His next goals: the Gravel World Championship and the Gravel Burn in South Africa. Meanwhile, he shares his passion through Instagram and his podcas @radio_gravel, connecting riders worldwide.
