300 miles, 3 countries: Trail Cat The Race
The fifth edition of Trail Cat The Race returns with a legendary challenge: 300 miles crossing Andorra, France, and Catalonia from north to south, traversing more than ten counties to the heart of Tarragona. The event, organised by Dani Buyo, is already considered one of the most demanding races in Europe.

âTrail Cat The Race will push the physical and mental endurance of runners to the limit. Three countries and the full climatic diversity of the territory will come together in a route we have designed to connect peaks, valleys, and paths across the Pyrenees, Pre-Pyrenees, central ranges, pre-littoral areas, and the coastline,â says Buyo.

Nafent readers receive an exclusive 50% discount on their registration for Trail Cat The Race with the code âNAFENTâ.
âParticipants will face 16,000 metres of positive elevation gain and the same in negative, with strict cut-offs: kilometre 90 (24 hours), kilometre 330 (120 hours), and the finish (152 hours), requiring an average pace of 3 km/h.â
Buyo adds: âOver those 460 km, you will conquer up to 15 peaks from the FEECâs list of 100 cims, most of them key summits in the Andorran, French, and Catalan Pyrenees.â
The start will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM in central Andorra la Vella, with the finish in Tarragona. The route, revealed in GPS track format just one week prior, will not be marked and will overlap in sections with classic marches on the Catalan calendar.

Shorter distances of 50, 25, and 5 miles will also be announced soon to attract a broader audience. Key incentives include a raffle for 15 spots in the Tor des Géants (Turin, Italy), part of the European TORX eXperience programme. Participants can opt for logistical services covering transfers from Tarragona to Andorra and vehicle management at the finish.
The organisation, led by Trail.cat, has opened registrations, with nearly 70 runners already confirmed and 40% international participation from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. Nafent readers currently have a 50% discount to sign up (see text block).
âFollowing the success of 2025, with 65 finishers out of 85 entrants, this edition promises to break participation records. Donât miss what could become the adventure of your life. I look forward to seeing you there.â
