La quantitat de ciclistes que es veuen aqu\u00ed \u00e9s \u2013 sincerament \u2013 incre\u00efble: surt a fer un volt pel Barri Vell entre les 9 i les 10 del mat\u00ed i necessitar\u00e0s un bloc de notes per poder comptar-los a tots. <\/strong><b>Aix\u00ed \u00e9s com el ciclsime es va popularitzar a Girona.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>No \u00e9s que Girona hagi estat popular entre els ciclistes (professionals) des de sempre. La ciutat catalana, amb m\u00e9s de 2000 anys d\u2019antiguitat, es va fer popular entre els ciclistes pels voltants de l\u2019any 1996. Va ser aleshores que diversos companys estatunidencs de Lace Armstrong van decidir que Girona era \u2018el lloc on viure\u2019.  <\/p>\n<h2>Marketing boca-orella<\/h2>\n<p>El mateix Armstrong va seguir als seus companys l\u2019any 2000, quan va deixar Ni\u00e7a per Girona, juntament amb George Hincapie. Es van instal\u00b7lar al Barri Vell, a l\u2019antic barri jueu de la ciutat. A partir d\u2019aquell moment, la comunitat ciclista va comen\u00e7ar a cr\u00e9ixer. Christian Vande Velde, Floyd Landis, Levi Leipheimer i Tyler Hamilton van ser alguns dels ciclistes professionals que van fer-se una llar a Girona.   <\/p>\n<p>Lentament, en aquell moment. Fins l\u2019any 2009, el nombre de ciclistes professionals residents a Girona encara era redu\u00eft: aproximadament de 25 a 30 professionals podien anomenar a Girona casa seva. No obstant aix\u00f2, despr\u00e9s del 2006, Girona va comen\u00e7ar a convertir-se realment en un punt neur\u00e0lgic del ciclisme.  <\/p>\n<p>Va ser el m\u00e0rqueting del boca orella el que va fer venir a Girona cada vegada m\u00e9s ciclistes professionals. A m\u00e9s a m\u00e9s, cada vegada m\u00e9s equips demanaven que els ciclistes tinguessin una base a Europa, i amb les seves carreteres tranquil\u00b7les, el bon clima, l\u2019espl\u00e8ndid caf\u00e8, la cuina excel\u00b7lent i la situaci\u00f3 propera a l\u2019aeroport, Girona era un bon lloc on plantar el campament i encendre el foc. <\/p>\n<h2>La comunitat ciclista gironina<\/h2>\n<p>La comunitat ciclista, que creixia any rere any, va atraure cada vegada m\u00e9s ciclistes professionals. Llavors, els professionals, van atraure la resta de membres dels equips per tal de tenir unes condicions d\u2019entrenament \u00f2ptimes. Diversos equips van comen\u00e7ar \u2018service course\u2019 a la ciutat i rodalies, mentre que els mec\u00e0nics i els especialistes m\u00e8dics van veure oportunitats per fer cr\u00e9ixer els seus negocis aqu\u00ed.  <\/p>\n<p>La comunitat ciclista professional va inspirar a venir als futurs professionals. Junts van inspirar a l\u2019elit i als ciclistes amateurs a fer camps d\u2019entrenament de ciclisme (de pretemporada) a <em>Girona<\/em>. Tots junts van inspirar als turistes ciclistes a passar temps a la ciutat.  <\/p>\n<p>L\u2019arribada d\u2019Internet i el r\u00e0pid creixement de les xarxes socials, van jugar un paper molt important en el velo\u00e7 desenvolupament de la comunitat ciclista a Girona durant els \u00faltims deu anys. El ciclistes, no nom\u00e9s van comen\u00e7ar a ser actius a Facebook i Instagram, que van desenvolupar un paper important en l\u2019exhibici\u00f3 del ciclisme a Girona, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 l\u2019ascens de Strava i usuaris com Robert Gesink van contribuir al creixement de la ciutat com a capital europea del ciclisme de carretera. <\/p>\n<h2>Roda a Girona es va fer m\u00e9s i m\u00e9s popular<\/h2>\n<p>Actualment, Girona acull a m\u00e9s de 180 ciclistes professionals que viuen aqu\u00ed durant tot l\u2019any. Incomptables ciclistes aficionats s\u2019afegeixen a la comunitat cada dia, ja sigui per una sola sortida, per diverses setmanes o durant tota la temporada. Cada dia, nombrosos grups surten de Girona per explorar i entrenar per les seves carreteres tranquil\u00b7les. I els n\u00fameros segueixen creixent.   <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-29c0837 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"29c0837\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">So do the number of businesses and cycling facilities. La ciutat de Girona compta amb gaireb\u00e9 una desena de cafeteries centrades en els ciclistes, com per exemple el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eatsleepcycle.com\/\">caf\u00e8 d&#8217;Eat Sleep Cycle<\/a> i <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horscategoriegirona.cc\/\">Hors Categorie<\/a>. Apareixen m\u00e9s cafeteries en destins populars entre els ciclistes, com <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lamaglia.cafe\/\">La Maglia a Platja d\u2019Aro.<\/a> Hi ha hotels a Girona que compten amb totes les facilitats per tal d\u2019acollir ciclistes, com l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotelcarlemanygirona.com\/\">Hotel Carlemany<\/a>, i apartaments tur\u00edstics totalment equipats, com els de <a href=\"https:\/\/bravissimo-girona.com\/\">Bravissimo<\/a>. Per \u00faltim, per\u00f2 no per aix\u00f2 menys important, cada vegada m\u00e9s marques de ciclisme (de roba) escullen Girona com a seu. <a href=\"https:\/\/chpt3.com\/\">Chpt3<\/a>, de l\u2019exciclista professional David Millar, n\u2019\u00e9s un exemple.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Una nova incorporaci\u00f3: la primera revista de ciclisme en catal\u00e0<\/h2>\n<p>The Catalan town hosts more than twenty bike shops, multiple medical centers, and at least four pro-teams# services courses. One thing that Girona and its surroundings did not have until January 2022, was its own magazine. That gap is now filled with Nafent Magazine, the first bilingual cycling magazine (Catalan and English) in the world.
